dude, clutch kits dont come with flywheels..they are expensive i cant see how bad the damage is over the internet, but i imagine that it should be able to be machined...it should be machined anyway
  2. the only difference is the toothed rings on the wheel hubs (which can be removed) and mounting for the ABS sensor...thats it.

    Jungle Part 4

v happy with slotted discs and stock pads...no brake fade after 4-5 laps, braking from ~190k at the 50m mark or so. new mod: 4.10 small case open diff. i love open diffs. re thinking engine plans, was v happy with sundays performance...possibly a 2.8/2.9L stroker.

    318iS Bits

sorry, not selling bits of it separately
  9. no probs running with an ABS rear on non ABS...could just change the whole master cylinder and booster setup from the 325i parts car to get the rear out its easy, something along lines of: brake hoses shock bolt to trailing arm sway bar bolts to trailing arm allen key bolts to plates under big nuts on either side of subframe wedge and jack and should come off easy
  10. hell no! of course i would take one...i just wanted to get my 2c in. its expected! all joking aside, i am surprised he wasnt at least a little faster than me...he was prob taking it easy i imagine as i was pulling from him on the back straight

    Track Day Tyre

    Track Day Tyre

i am not looking to buy (yet) but am interested in researching the topic of track day tyres. i would be putting em on my spare set of 15's, so one of the easiest options would be something like a Formula R in 205/55R15. reasonable cost/fairly grippy etc. some questions i have are: 1) does anyone have experience with any other tyres, like the e30 series toyos 2) i have seen hoosier's on 14" bottle caps..what imperial (i presume) sizings would fit on a 15x7 rim, where to get from, and how much compared to comparable dunlops 3) i know i can, but would i be able to find/afford a wider (say 215/225) formula R or similar tyre? would basically have them for track use only (with my 4.10 diff) ie if i was going to taupo drive down on road tyres and only put them on once there. any ideas/suggestions much appreciated...i feel like i have reached the limits (whether i have or not is a different story) of my car on street tyres and would like to take it a little further when i can. also, i wouldnt mind a slightly smaller profile than 205/55 to lower the diff ratio
