Sounds like you need a highly illegal jammer.

Or, you could try being observant and driving with your eyes open.

A radar detector won't help you enough to warrant the purchase of one.

Drive closer to the speed limit.

Get either a... Bel RX65, Escort 8500, or Valentine One. Be prepared to pay at least $450 off trademe. Don't waste ya money on the cheap ones.

I have a Bel RX65 n never had trouble from the police after 5 years driving. I don't speed around like a maniac or anything at all, its just useful for your long trips when maybe you're creeping up over 100... or entering a 50km zone from the highway.

I've never owned a radar detector.

I agree with Cain.

Motion carried.

I scored one off a mate that did a bulk buy of cheap ones on trade me ages ago, think i swapped him a box and a packet of cigerettes. Does the trick, saved my ass a few times actually.

But yuh, brain works good to, remember where hotspots for cops are etc

Forget the radar detector Ive got a better idea.

Get more demerits and get suspended....its not as bad as it sounds so bear with me.

You can use the money youve saved on the detector to pay the fine so your winning already.

Then with any luck, a few months without a car will teach you that being able to drive is a privilege and not a right and that the simple solution would be to respect the speed limit.

You come away all square financially and a much better driver for the experience....everyone wins :)

learn how to drive better. Use cruise control. And never worry about speeding again.

Mmm ya I agree with everyones comments. Maybe I should delete my comment giving advice. If you've been driving for only 1 year n nearly lost all your demerits, thats gotta say something about your driving, and respect of the authorita..
