Palazzo 477 Report post Posted April 14, 2008 Curse the lack of grip in the M325i, wonder why my convertible is sitting in the rain at the mechanics, work to pay for the convertible at the mechanics. Thank my lucky stars I talked to Glenn regarding the repair and think how lucky we are to have someone so knowledgable and helpful on the forum. Grant 4 Report post Posted April 14, 2008 Very cool Glenn...you really are a talented bugger aren't you. My current wet day activities consist of building towers out of kids blocks (just to have them knocked down within 30 seconds), playing fire engines, having crawling races, watching Playhouse Disney and changing nappies. Cheers Grant

Yuen 16 Report post Posted April 14, 2008 Wow very nice paintings Glenn! When it's wet and gloomy outside I end up cleaning, doing work or lazing around on the computer or watching a show.
Guest Simon* Report post Posted April 15, 2008 Glenn that's some serious talent I really like them a lot What do you paint in? Acrylic on pre-made canvas? My old man does the same thing, but landscapes predominately. He even went back to High School and did bursary art in his 50's.

Thanks Simon I use Acrylics on canvas..... and I've done a few practice pictures in oils...so slow tho..you need days of drying time. With acrylics you can dry with a hair dryer ( not the handbrakes one tho )

With acrylics you can dry with a hair dryer ( not the handbrakes one tho ) You can get an additive for oil paint that will have it dry in hours. Bimmersport, Bebo, and StumbleUpon. But at the moment a 1200 and a 1500 word essay, both due this thursday. Problem is, it's not wet and miserable outside.

allan 295 Report post Posted April 15, 2008 That is some nice art work Glenn, do you sketch the outline first then fill in with the desired colour or just go for it. Rainy days well could be reading up on items concerning e39's DIY projects, what is for sale on ebay etc stuff like. Have been looking into the history of BMW as a car manufacturer and other aspects of the company very interesting read. Glenn if you don't mind what was the out come of your new sign project a while back? Cheers Allan
