Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted June 22, 2008 very nice Gus, congrats, misfire is probably electrical, check plugs and leads carefully, as well as dissy cap.

jjs 64 Report post Posted June 23, 2008 Looks good. E30 Tourings seem to be such great buys in the UK. Shame its not possible to bring one back with you. A search of ebay.co.uk brings up lots of tasty examples: Mint 325i C2 2.7 Alpina manual 320i manual 325i manual Or, look at this E36 328i touring manual, which looks very nice and is a snip at 1,700 buy now (less than $5k NZ)! Apex 693 Report post Posted June 23, 2008 So about 4k for a decent Touring, or under half what they are worth here! Rarity determines what a punter will pay.

Gus 5 Report post Posted June 23, 2008 (edited) i should be able to bring the touring back if i want...I will be owning it more than 3 months no engines..way too much hassle to go and pick up..plus i already have 300 hp rough plan is to fill the touring and bring that back - prob same cost as bringing the parts themselves tech 2 kit is for a coupe..maybe back in nz.. a bit undecided about keeping it 316 took about 10mins since i bought it to reach 100mph cost £470 with a full tank of gas (with gas arond £1.18 a L thats a decent chunk of change) forgot to mention, it's Pam's car too - ripe for some euro touring! Seems like you got yourself a very good buy!

If your vehicle does not meet frontal impact or exhaust emissions standards, it must still comply with the general safety requirements of the Frontal Impact Rule and the Emissions Rule. The vehicle must also comply with the relevant requirements of all the other rules.
