Apex 693 Report post Posted July 30, 2008 They look to have the wrong offset, the wheels are way out of the guards.
togate 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2008 (edited) lol the price is stupid considering the .com racing wheels only cost $1000. Although im all for low offsets and wide widths , just needs to be lowered, flared and a power up. Edited July 30, 2008 by togate

zenetti 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2008 (edited) Are they the same wheels zenetti is selling? H3LL NO!!! they are Dot com wheels. The car shouldn't pass a warrant technically speaking, however it is a bit of a grey area at the moment as WOF guidelines state only the shoulder of the tyre must be inside the line of the guard. I think from memory there is also something else that relates to the tyre width/rim width combo and also where the wheel sits in relation to the tyre. Hence the so called grey area as it causes a lot of confusion. At work we have seen these car quite a few times in the Auto Trader and has led to quite a bit of discussion. In the end we decided that we would NEVER let a car go out like that, as it could come back to us for failing a warrant. IMO whoever put those wheels on should not call themselves a professional wheel and tyre shop. ps the car has been lowered! Mark 178 Report post Posted July 30, 2008 Yeah, this car's been on TM for months and months. If the dealer wanted to sell it they should have chucked it on $1 reserve like the other really tidy 316i that was on here a month back, not slap some disgusting wheels on it and hike the price by thousands! It's a mint little car with exceptionally low k's but damn, put it on TM for what it's worth!
Mike 1 Report post Posted July 30, 2008 Dreamer! You can deal with no air con & electric windows but no Power steer???? Is it me or do the tyres look to be the wrong size for the rims??? e30's are sweet with no power steer, only bad thing is the slow rack. and tyres are too small for the rims, probably to fit under the guards
