martyyn 2 Report post Posted October 14, 2008 Hope everyone is ok Tony. You have to admire the way the rear has crumpled leaving the cabin relatively untouched. It looks like it took a hell of a hit from the back.

westy 614 Report post Posted October 14, 2008 It was rearended on the motorway Monday morning. An impressive way to start the week. Some dumb f**k plumber in a van took her out. Nikkis alright. Shes a bit sore in a couple of places but nothings broken thankfully. You're right Martynn, The way the car handled the crash is pretty impressive. westy 614 Report post Posted October 14, 2008 Thanks guys. Shes on the mend, wants to get back to work already! Both of us are more pissed off about it now than anything. Shes a little worried about a Mini at the moment, Doug Ha! Cant blame her really, it scared the sh*t out of her. The insurance co have sorted a rental for us at $10 a day, so they're in the good books so far.

hybrid 1043 Report post Posted October 14, 2008 The upside is Tony you can get an auto e46 and start the long road to probably NZs first e46 manual conversion. You have the proper EGS / DME software and all sensors / bits needed to do it.
