Anyone Know Much About These?

Recommended Posts

Spotted this on TradeMe thought it was an M-spec at first glance.

I've never heard of an MK Motorsport - anyone shed some light on it? Is it a Kosher tuned E30 (similar to Hartge) or an after-market tart up?

Looks reasonable tidy and different to the normal.

Cheers for any info.

Looks like a Japanese company decided they would jazz up a 318i with some MK parts/badges.

MK-Motorsport

The Japanese are good at spending a lot of money on nice parts then sending a fully kitted out car down under, I used to have a car with what worked out to have $35,000nz worth of extra’s fitted.

Looks like a bog standard 318 to me with an 'is' front lip, a set of 'se' side skirts with a couple of badges randomly thrown on.

Nice wheels but are they the correct offset? Something about the rear doesnt look right.

God, I can't make my mind up whether I like the fake wood panelling or hate it!

I do know I hate the rear numberplate panel filler - yuk!

I hate it. Exactly the same interior as mine but without those blue and red things on the seat and mines alot better condition. Looks so much nicer with just black trimming and not wood.

That things so ugly. What were they thinking?

all it needs is some recaro's , mtec II wheel and a 5spd manual conversion kit and would be a nice car .

oh yea and rip the stupid number plate panel off .

Cheers for the info, every day is a school day!

Not sure how I missed the number plate surround - eek

For some strange reason I quite like the wood grain - even if it does look like it has been cut out of a sheet and stuck on with glue. Just thought it looked a little different, not a huge price tag either.

No pictures of the engine bay, and no mention of any tuning add-ons which is a downside. Now if it had this under there...

I saw it parked on the side of the road y'day, looked tidy at 60km/h. Wheels looked a bit balloonish though.
