mikes635csi 4 Report post Posted October 14, 2011 Hello all, It has been quite a while since my last post. FINALLY got the beast back from the panel and paint shop, still has the bumpers to do but other than that it is ready to go. picked it up a couple of weeks ago so have a look at the vid... took it into Racelign who have fitted the front camber plates and new custom made sway bars with new mounts and nolathane bushes in both front and rear. unfortunately my camera has shite itself so will try and get some pics soon. Need to get a complete header and muffler solution made up next so any ideas please feel free to let me know.. WHEW - it is now going to start coming together, it was very surreal actually picking it up after so long... mike

mikes635csi 4 Report post Posted September 16, 2012 well, time flys by, and not a lot more done, headers are finished and have had HPC in black so looking good. have pulled the cross member out to see if i can fit a e39 rack and pinion set up to clean up the steering. some pics enclosed. have been spending most of my time is aussie so it has been hard to work on car but every now and then i get the chance so going to have a bit of a run at things over the next couple of weeks. mikes635csi 4 Report post Posted December 9, 2013 Well, i have got a bit of traction going. The car has been out with Grady at HiTech which has been great, he has fitted the hydraulic handbrake with a new fabricated bracket inside, then machined up brackets for the new front and rear calipers, front are fitted perfectly but a bit of a fault on the rear where i ended up with one off a non vented and one vented caliper, so need to sort that with JD, then they can go on too. The master cylinder will go in next and i can run new lines around the old girl, twin boosters going in under the footwell in the passenger side..
