Jamez 2147483647 Report post Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) Update No pics till tomorrow night Today I; Swapped Bumper/Boot over Removed Dash's from both cars Put a front windscreen in put back seats in took pods off the 325i to send to Frantic put a fuel pump in started to remove pedals for the swap to manual put on taillights Total Time 5hrs TO DO Tomorrow; Swap Pedals Over put dash in Finish off putting windscreen in (the rubber inlay bit) put on front guards put headlights and front bumper on swap driver seats over get rid of automatic gear changer Prep for engine swap TO DO Monday Get Engine and gearbox out of 325i Put brake booster in 320i TO DO Tuesday Put Engine and Gearbox in 320i Swap Rims and rear sway bar over TO DO Wednesday Anything that gets forgoton swap Diff's go get quote on re-spray TO DO Thursday Get a WOF and REGO. QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2009 There is a long bolt that runs through the brake clutch pedal, just unclip the accelerator pedal (behind the pedal) there should be no welding, they come out in about 5 minutes. Jamez 2147483647 Report post Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) Update didn't have much time today to work on the car as i had to go out to breakfast with the girlfriend then helped her move house not much done to the 320i got all the tech2 off the 325i will have all panels on the 320i by 9am tomorrow. the engine is pretty much ready to lift out, so might be in and going by tomorrow night, at this point in time I can see myself being ready by the Anzac cruise, help permitting . took some pics but it was pretty dark, so no good ones, will make sure i take some goodin's tomorrow. so stoked im swapping all the bits over, the 325i is a rust bomb, the whole car is rust and has bog EVERYWHERE. it would of never complied. on the otherhand the 320i is immaculate and for reference, the 320 is the car with no steering wheel on the left and the steering wheel in the 325i someone can have if they help ( its pretty worn tho) pretty much if you help me you can take bits off the 4door and can someone please please swap the pedals for me ill give you a door as a memento , i just cant do it. Jamez 2147483647 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 Update decided to let the breather for the fuel tank just sit and do nothing Car is go befor i get a WOF and active the REGO I will have to mount the front Tech2 valence properly fix and mount the rear bumper put brake light switch on the pedal and after that i'll do the small things before the Anzac cruise like.. swap over sway bars and suspension swap over diff ect.... not going to have time for the car to get painted so it will look pretty rough on the cruise........
