Guest Simon* Report post Posted April 14, 2009 TM Linkage OK it looked pretty normal until I saw what look like BBS LM's (yes/no?) and it's 5 stud. I thought all E30's were 4 stud minus the M3's and the odd special - Alpina, etc Possibly been converted?
greenday-rulz21 6 Report post Posted April 14, 2009 Yea, must have been converted Simon. Like you said, all were four stud apart from the M3. Don't know about the LM's. Do look suspiciously like them. Sh*tty offset though.
Jamez 2147483647 Report post Posted April 14, 2009 no mention of the 5 stud conversion so it must of been done ages ago do you need a cert for it?

bravo 35 Report post Posted April 16, 2009 Certainly look like LM's, and thats a BBS logo on the centre cap. Very nice buy - owner is either realistic, or doesn't know what he has as parted out that'd be worth a fair bit more than the asking.

JiB 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2009 Certainly look like LM's, and thats a BBS logo on the centre cap. The LM's have same laaaaaaaaaame as outer barrels, would probably affect what they're worth. $$$ to change the barrels.
louis297 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2009 ha i went and saw that yesterday, gay thing is its got a 325 diff in it so sloow take off and noisy me and dad where thinking thrust bearing ? im very interested in it but the thrust bearing is what puts my dad off ( or what ever is making that sound)
Guest Ari Gold Report post Posted April 19, 2009 High offset LM's, like over 50 I'd suggest - Probably gotta be 25mm of adaptor on there too! My LM's are et38, and don't look nearly as retarded on an E30 as those do. You can undo all the bolts and put the face behind the mounting lip, for a lower offset which looks way cooler. That's at least 3 E30's in NZ running LM's now! Common as muck on a stray dog - Glen/Myself (same set of wheels), Ollie and now this guy. Any more? JiB 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) Outer barrel? LM's are only 2 piece. I stand corrected! Have always thought LM's were 3 piece... So what in the world were those LM's made for? 5x120 (assuming) but in 50+ offset? edit: Would be amusing if the e30 was actually a standard 4 stud, but with 4x100 to 5x114.3/100 adaptors I have seen Subaru's and Altezza's with LM's Edited April 19, 2009 by JiB
