jordyboy2 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Me thinks oem like these Tard me or Genuine Schnitzers Or mesh style MESH
JiB 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Genuine Schnitzers Those Schnitzels have gone up in price! Was considering them for mum's E46 when they were $600 and even then I thought they were still too pricey for 16"s.

bravo 35 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Dish is still good, and will be for awhile (see sick wheels thread), but looks way better if you still have some tyre - ie looks good on about 1-2 sizes down from the max size you can run for a particular car. I like the motorsport m3 rims brook. I prefer the type IV AcS wheels to the Type III's. Will was running them on his e36 cabby and they are sex. steve R 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Is that set of 17" BBS CH still floating around?
greenday-rulz21 6 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Haha. Still think the dished look is mint. But of course depends on the design of the wheel.

JiB 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Ok I give in, those areeee very nice I dunno....they're extremely busy looking wheels. Lots of holes and angles that don't seem to serve a purpose?
bmpower 3 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 I had 18x8 tsw mondello's on my e36 with 235x40x18 all round on standard suspension and had guard rub with the right offset - handled well though! I have since then gone to 17x8.5 hamann wheels with 225x45x17 front and 245x40x17 back staggered tyres and it feels like another car, handling is awesome!! i'd go with a nice set of clean looking 17's ftw! DRTDVL 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 (edited) Those with Dished rims please stand up... hehe then again i wasn't a fan of the polished lip either... all too showy for me... I'm a plain simple person... Edited April 30, 2009 by DRTDVL
bmpower 3 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Here is a few pics of various wheels i've had on my e36! The last one (Hamann's) are the current wheels with staggered tyres. Hope this helps ya!

bmpower 3 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 1st one in the above Gutted over those BBS wheels! I bought them for $300 with tyres of TM, then when i had them spun up and balanced, 3 of the 4 were badly buckled which made for a rough unstable ride, so gave them back to the guy! Prob 1 of, if not the best looking wheel i've had on the e36! ...lesson to be learnt! If it looks too good to be true it normally is!!

DRTDVL 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Got sumthn against my dishes bro. One out Sorry dude - i think you misunderstood my statement. It was in responce to Ari Gold and his statement "When I start seeing big lips on every corner except hunters' , I'll agree with you" - I was simply putting it out there that there is alot of people with dished rim's. And if you want dished rims, black centers with polished lips, stretched rubber etc... you're more than welcome to them - as this was an opinions thread i was stating my opinions, if that differs from yours thats kool, didn't mean to offend.

kingkarl 136 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 I quite like these Even though they're common as dogs nuts, i still like M3 reps on e36's like this one
Apex 693 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 I would go for some replica E46 M3 wheels. There is one around Papakura and it looks absolutely perfect, they sit how wheels should and they suit a dark coloured pre facelift E36 really well. They would be 18x8. Perfect. http://www.magandtyredirect.com/wheeldetail.php?rc=1682 Im sure they will do you a mean deal!
