DRTDVL 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2009 Sorry i didn't get to catch up with many of you... Turned out to be a bit of a strange night, my friend was still working until 12:30 so didn't make it in until 1:30ish... Unfortantly the sound system put anouther friend of mine off and he left not long after 2ish... It was a pity really I loved the album, but couldn't really get into the atmosphere - Fu was dead when you guys where playing as 90% of people where in Zen. If you where are at the back of Zen the sound was really muffelled and sounded overdriven... It was really good to see a singer and a guitarist playing but you guys where seriously let down by the sound setup. Hope your night was good...  Looked like a good number of people there... Would have stayed longer, but made the Denny's call at 4am, and after that didn't have the buzz on to go back so went home around 4.30am. Awesome night. hybrid 1043 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 Sorry about the sound system fellas. We tuned our output so it wasn't to harsh on the ears. Unfortunitly Zen was trying out a new setup for the live input of the sound system. The DJ side was nice and loud but we were down quite a few DB. In the end we had our output set +8db over just to get it up however all this was doing was driving the limiters. That will be the compressed sound you were hearing down the back. The sad thing was our stage monitors were providing the clarity hence was it sounds clearer up the front. We tried in vein to do something about it during the set but as you could imagine we had our hands full. All in all very happy with how it went! and look on the bright side. Gin & tonics went on till 6.00am.. and like MOF (in good feral beard form) says, sound was all good when you were cranking it up front TY Antiform....
