39KiwiTouring 2 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 Loving my touring at the moment just running so sweet, just a superb motor car this would be my 54th personal vehicle I have owned. This thread is to list the likes about your present ride. 1. Leather Seats. 2. Kick down mode. 3. Heater. meanest heater ever 4. Respect earned no one attempts to pass now unless you let them. 5. 6 Disc staker. 6. Blue glass mirrors - wicked with the sun on them. 8. Power, grace, and space and safe. 9. 3000rpm sound of the M52. Just wicked loving it.
Mark 178 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 2. Kick down mode. Is this the same kick down mode that all automatic cars have had since the 50's? I like the exhaust sound / straight 6 growl on my car.

JiB 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 Lots of fun despite being hilariously slow for such large engines (E30 2.5, E46 2.8). E46 has better chassis, but E30's more fun.

Driftit 2078 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 All I have to do is compare them to other cars of similar market Value. In the same market I purchased my 540 from. I could have also picked a Ford Falcon, Holden Commodore, Toyota Camey, Honda Accord and many other dull piles of sh*t.

mrad01 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 The e92: - The torque - 450NM delivered from about 1700rpm right through to 6500. - The look - The sound when the turbos are up to boost (1500rpm+) - Factory bluetooth and iPod are the shizzle - The fact 307 Senator cockheads underestimate it at the lights. BYE! - The drive. Man it handles... The e30 325/4: - The look - The sound! LOVE the old 6 - Reliability. Fires up first touch - even at 1 degree... - The fact that Altezzas under estimate it. LATERZ! - The drive! It is a bimmer afterall After driving both - you get the sense they are related somehow. Its in the drive - the essence is there.
