I had a chain a while ago. But every corner, bump, whatever it just swung all over the place. Sometimes knocking the windscreen. Took it off & put it on my drivers door handle. EDIT: wasnt a BIG chain, was a necklace chain.

I remember Motorway Patrol ages ago, young girl got pulled up, has pink fluff around her mirror got told to remove it there & then cos it was classed as "distracting" to the driver...she was gutted but done as she was told.
