RyanG 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Oh is it a B34 or what? And what turbo? Eitherway it should have butt loads of torque all over the place.

Andre3000 55 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 How are you fitting the e36 hubs to the e30 struts? machining sleeves so the hubs fit snuggly. This is the best way to do it without using a whole e30 m3 strut. e36 struts just dont work properly. nice!! that will be one quick e30 you will have there!! and you will be able to stop as fast as you accelerate shot gun a ride when your done bro yeah it should be a beast alright. i just want her back already as iv been without my e30 for nearly 2 months now. Im sure a ride can be arranged lol.

Guest FrantiC Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Info on the build?? SICK!!! That is going to be insane. What turbo? Any work done to the motor? Who made the intake and exhaust manifolds? One thing I notice is the wastegate is plumbed back too soon into the dump pipe off the turbo, also it is flowing the opposing direction too so that will add alot of back pressure and slow the spooling down alot. Andre3000 55 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 ok, ive resized them now...... engine is a m30b35 mated to a w58 supra 5 spd gearbox using an adapter plate. Turbo is off a marine diesel engine, being rebuilt by Steve Murch. No internal work as yet, these motors are pretty strong so it should be able to handle 350-400hp no sweat. I plan to put a screamer pipe in after cert anyway so the wastegate setup doesnt bother me. Manifolds wer fabricated by Paul Weir from RaceFX Engine has been built up from standard. Are you changing anything headgasket wise? Headstuds? Oh yeah fair enough, I have an equally dodgy wastegate plumb back on mine too. Suprising how much slower it made my car spool vs having the screamer.. Mine was With flow too.
Andre3000 55 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Badass. That is all. Thnks, a week or two more and it should be ready

Later on i'll do a forged rebuild with all the extras, im just going for reliability atm. I'll definately have a talk with the fabricator about the wastegate. Im a bit of a turbo noob, but its pretty obvious physics to me. Plus if i change the wastegate plumbing to later in the downpipe it wont look so susp with a screamer.
