Eddie 66 Report post Posted June 27, 2010 The hillclimb in the weekend was alot fun. It rained in the morning but the road was wet all day. I have posted vid on youtube of one run where it wasn't raining. Not the best driving display. And having an open diff is not cool

Eddie 66 Report post Posted June 28, 2010 win! Yeah sort that diff out for the next one, but how awesome was that! congrats ... I heard almost 0 interior rattle. must be happy about that! again congrats I can hear the seat rear seat belt buckels hitting each other. It took till the last run of the day for me to work out the noise. The rear belts are old school non-retrackables.

kerry 10 Report post Posted July 14, 2010 (edited) seen them pushing it into workshop thismorning , front hoop? how do the justify that when its less hp. like you say though easy fix so thats a bonus... Edited July 14, 2010 by kerry
hybrid 1044 Report post Posted July 14, 2010 sweet a nice afternoons work and youll be sorted. Just with the front drive shaft loop you need to bolt through the tunnel with high tensile bolts. You cant just get away with welding too the tunnel. Took mine a little to get done as space is tight with shifter linkage and driftshaft. Your cert guy can tell you what he expects. Eddie 66 Report post Posted July 14, 2010 I was more worried about all the mods to the chassie and forgot about checking the lights. I hope to get across tomorrow and with some luck get it all sorted.

bravo 35 Report post Posted July 15, 2010 Nice hoops. I'm surprised they made you fit some as Josh points out. What I did was put the bolts in from the top, and tack-welded them to the floor pan so I can remove the hoops without taking the carpet out to put a spanner on them.
