martyyyn 102 Report post Posted April 30, 2010 (edited) Nice to see the Bimmersport 'tall poppy' squad is still alive and kicking. I have a mint techII wheel which I imported last year so I know exactly how much it costs and I know just how much hassle it can be to organise. 370mm techII wheels are rare as hell in NZ so you have to pay the price when one comes up. Whether Im prepared to pay $50 or $500 is no-ones business but my own. I dont understand why people want to spend a grand on a set of replica weaves when you can get the originals for 6-800, but I dont feel the need to make thread about it. Anyway, congrats to Matt for winning the auction. I hope he enjoys every minute of his purchase and sticks two fingers up to the rest of you. Cale 36 Report post Posted April 30, 2010 I tend to think that just like Matt has indicated how much he would pay for it, everyone else has aswell. I think a few others would agree with me in saying that if they had that sort of money to pay for a steering wheel they would be well happy with that Mtech II. Also, there was no thread with the title "Joe Bloggs spent $x on this thing" or something to that effect. Once again, harmless internet talk made all serious and personal. Nice purchase anyway Matt.
