ron&hazel 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2010 Hi 1Rotty. Our plan is to remove anything thats no so good rebuild it and I guess this will take a couple of years.I intend to build a new man shed before I start this project, but I may get the motor running,do a compression test to see what I may need to do before I replace the timing chain.I was told the motor runs sweet but for peace of mind I will do the timing chain.Does anyone have a spare ignition switch, this has been butchered. ssbmw 220 Report post Posted April 30, 2010 Did these come with the m88? Or just an m30 with the M bits/pieces? The UK / NZ M635csi's had the M88/3 power plant. There was never a 635csi with m options. It was either a M635csi (commonly called the M6, even though the US were the only market that officially used that moniker ) or a 635csi. Even though the visual differences were subtly - two vastly different vehicles.
