greenday-rulz21 6 Report post Posted May 27, 2010 After the trade me discussion I looked at sella to see how crap it was compared and I stumbled across this E34 M5. http://www.sella.co.nz/motoring/cars/bmw/5pj75z/ Kinda a bit astonished at the reserve met, especially considering its only reached $2500 with only one bidder. Could be a serious bargain. Just goes to show how much of the market trade me reaches. I would hate to see an M5 go for that and I hope for the sellers sake it reaches a decent price. Looks like ashmill's old M5?
Mark 178 Report post Posted May 27, 2010 He's probably accidentally put the reserve at $2500, instead of $12,500. Bet it gets pulled before the end of the auction.
greenday-rulz21 6 Report post Posted May 27, 2010 Yea, most likely the sellers mistake. But that bid has been there for the last 10 days...
Guest Simon* Report post Posted May 27, 2010 That's our old friend St**t - will bet money on this car not changing hands for anything remotely near that price or auction being withdrawn. Has same photos as back on trademe - the little pplate gives it away

Eagle 1662 Report post Posted May 27, 2010 Was wondering why it was ludicrously priced. It does look like that black M5 that sold awhile ago like like someone mentioned, not sure if it is or not but you wouldn't take that tossers word for it.

Jamez 2147483647 Report post Posted June 1, 2010 got an email from him saying that I should understand that he "can't let a $20000 car go for $2500" and that he set the res so low by accident. What a time waster

cliffdunedin 8 Report post Posted June 1, 2010 It's hardly a big deal, it was obvious that it was a reserve fcuk up...and anyone who thought they were going to get it for 2.5k was(to take a quote from the castle) Dreaming!

CamB 48 Report post Posted November 9, 2010 (edited) Thread dig - I see the car is on Trademe again. The upcoming 20 year rule explains the dodgy registration (as an ATV) noted above. http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=330850360 You'd be totally mad to buy the car for anything other than racing purposes, IMHO.
