The E46 must have been pretty badly trashed to make it a parts car, doesn't look too bad from the photos, but then I'm no expert like you guys. You don't happen to have a spare S14 engine coming out of the E30 M3 by any chance ? The E46 has damage which is purely cosmetic. Options are parting it out, welding a coupe roof on and turning into a racecar, selling the SMG gear and repowering with manual V8 are some ideas. If it is a Euro spec box it will be dogleg first and if yank will be normal 5 speed overdrive pattern. Ray will confirm.
