Exactly how I did mine! Even the subframe, drill, soak with petrol and watch it burn..

Saw it at Pit Stop when it was there a while ago Will, Had no idea you were doing the conversion! Looks extremely tidy. Drop by at work when you're in the area next, would love to go for a ride in it

SO MUCH ROOM IN M40 E30 ENGINE BAY

looks like a good tidy install, i like how you mounted intercooler, didn't hack front bumper to bits like most turbo E30s

Cert plate's finally attached, WoF tomorrow. Runs really rich, so will look into tuning options (stock ECU now) but runs well.

It's a "raw" ride with solid engine mounts and some exhaust fouling issues (no big deal, just vibrations). Full boost below 4000 rpm (redlines 5800) but boy oh boy, does it haul.

Shout outs to:

Dan @ Slater Fab for making this great setup!

Tom and the team @ Pitstop Grey Lynn for being GC's with advice, fittings and cert related issues

Next on the list:

710N VW/Audi recirculating valve

Electric fan to make room for a shorter intake pipe

Fix the exhaust "dump pipe" angle to get more clearance to the body

Possible tune (more research)
