If the exhaust noise is below 90db or whatever it is...which is unlikely.

95dB for vehicles registered before June 2008, 90dB otherwise. But that hardly matters, if you annoy a cop they can give you a ticket if they think it's too loud. You have to either prove it's an OEM exhaust or get an LVV cert for the modified exhaust at that point. And then they can try to ticket you again as they can claim you've modified it since you got the cert.

I was looking at getting a nicer sounding back box for my car, but am coming to the conclusion that it might not be worth the potential future hassle.
