Hydraulic lifter noise

Recommended Posts

I do recall there being a thread a while ago suggesting a product to use to reduce hydraulic lifter noise but the search function keeps failing me.

Any suggestions?

edit - please don't suggest oil

BNT sells it. I dont like it tho. I think it masks the problem instead of fixing it.

MBL8 is the best additive by far for oil. Forton Lifter Free at ` super cheap` of all places works really well freeing up sticky lifters.

going to give it a flush tonight and a oil change. If that makes no difference I'll try the MBL8

0.5 to 1L of ATF.

Job done. Works every time.

Do it straight after a change.

straight from a car dealer right there, be careful of the winckel.....................

I like the rear wing! Try getting the little three all the way round to 12, you'll be surprised. ;)

I hate it when the exclamation mark gets stuck.
