Genuine?

Recommended Posts

A number of tuners had stroker engines before vanos and the 3.0 M3 had surfaced.

Did the hartge 2.8 come with no vanos?

The M50 at that time had no Vanos as Vanos hadn't been invented yet so yep this variant didn't have it.

Must have been a grey period, as I had an 'R' plated vanos E36

Would the 84mm stroke rotating assembly not exist as well?

Whats 'R' plated??

Number plate beginning with 'R'...?

Has it been registered later on perhaps? My late 1993 Telstar was "SG"

Trademe research suggests "R" plates continued into 1993 sometime. "S" plates would have started in 1993. Suggests this car was built 1992 and registered 1993. Not that it really matters...

As Nath said, it's a grey area, produced late 92 but a lot didn't come with it.

i no this is an old post but thought u may like this 1 put to rest

i bought the car got it for $2700
