To me it just highlights all the negative aspects of the drifting "scene", what is that supposed to be "Jackass Does Drifting"?? Too much of the flat peak mentality in there. Yes, they are not scared to damage their cars - because they are all sh!t boxes. The standard of the drifting is distinctly average, even with the extensive editing and re-runs for the videos.
