CSET 583 Report post Posted June 18, 2018 Swapped Supersprint mufflers back on yesterday, along with the e9x 18's and one of the race seats. It's still half practical that way ? Not sure I had this exhaust installed correctly since new - it's nowhere near as rattly. Sounds good. So much that the installer of the OEM exhaust hadn't even bothered putting a nut on it.. Untitled by Christian Taylor, on Flickr Besides, bumper removal on these is bloody easy. 6 bolts, wheel well trims, a couple of clips and reversing sensors. 10m max. M3_Power 636 Report post Posted June 21, 2018 You need better tools!!! I’ve never had to drop the bumper to drop that muffler and I’ve done it more times than I care to count. In the meantime I've picked up a couple of sets of 6pt harnesses and have some mounting hardware on the way. Wasn't overly happy to find a couple of welds splatters had burnt holes into the glass and he also scratched the door sill when taking the drivers seat out, dragging the rails on it. Not sure yet, probably neither for the meantime - I also have standard seats which I’ll put back in until I get the front buckles relocated and certed. Yeah I should have in hindsight, but this was back in 2010 when I was a bit younger and tended to avoid confrontation. I can only imagine I figured what was done was done. I definitely would have brought it up if it were the case today, that said I never let anyone but myself touch my cars these days unless I know they can't stuff things up and it's under my supervision. Hope he did a better job on your car! Although i trusted the person that put my half cage in, i removed all the windows so it was easier for him to get in there, and for this reason.
