E30 boot grounding points

Going to do a battery to boot conversion this weekend, can anyone tell me where the factory grounding points are in the boot?

hope the pics help, was about to do the same, but CBF with a m40.

does anyone know what that thing above the battery is, the thing with the wires?

no idea tbh, but i don't think they all do, because from memory, mine doesn't

Only e30's that come original with a battery in boot have the grounding bracket.

To convert mine i bought a short battery earth cable and bolted it to a secure point in the battery well.

Just checked mine doesn't have the bracket, will have to look into the wheel well.

Are you running a fuse or circuit breaker? if so what rating?

When I did mine I got a slightly longer cable and used it on the rear bumper bolt, just sand some metal around it so it has good contact with the metal.

No not running any circuit breakers, I have got all the factory cables and stuff.

Will give it a go this weekend and ill find an appropriate point, thanks for the help guys

Chuck an 80amp breaker on the ECU power cable.

80 amp on ecu power???
