efirty 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2013 Hey Guys, Picked this up a few weeks ago after returning from Canada. I was originally looking for an e36 or e46 but could't pass up on this when i saw it! Had it serviced by Team Mcmillan last week and was super surprised with how tidy it was mechanically. Has had a respray in the last couple of years, but needs a few little bits touched up around the rear spoiler. Mods to come: Tint Lowering springs LSD Z3 shifter German/europlates Exhaust system (Please excuse the crappy cellphone pics)

efirty 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2013 (edited) shite, nice car(s) how are you finding the m5? The M5 is my old mans, he picked it up a few months ago but seems to be enjoying it. Seriously hauls ass but doesn't like the lack of exhaust note so we're pricing up a system from Turner Motorsport this week Im pretty sure i saw this car on Friday afternoon Onehunga/Penrose area? Yep, that would have been me on the way home from work. What were you driving Andrew? Edited August 4, 2013 by efirty

JayCee 26 Report post Posted August 4, 2013 If you are after some lowering springs, I have a brand new set of h&r springs and shocks sports cupkit. brand new in box rrp is around $1500. 60mm drop in front and 40mm drop in rear. bought for my 325i but just bought an e30 on an air ride suspension setup. Pm me if interested could work out a good deal! And would look awesome on such a tidy example of an e30 like yours as the drop is consistent unlike most aftermarket kits which the front sits too high normally. Allanw 1072 Report post Posted August 4, 2013 SE's look awesome! It's the little details that make them, even though most people don't even notice the little things.

efirty 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2013 Cheers guys! Have had my eye on a couple of SE models over the years but have always wanted one in white, Had the lads at Car Folie tint the windows in the weekend. Great job and was very impressed with the finished job and especially the turn around time (just over an hour!) I highly recommend their services, Car looks good. Genuine Aplina's? Unsure if they are genuine. How would I confirm this? Also, I noticed yesterday that one of the alpina badges on was missing. Where would be the best place to purchase a set of these? Moderators - Perhaps move this thread over the to the project section?
nath 134 Report post Posted August 21, 2013 Wicked car, I remember seeing it around in the same trim a few years ago when I had my brown E30. No reason to suspect that the Alpinas arent genuine, China wasn't copying things very well when those square- lipped ones were around. From memory of my ones, non- genuine wheels don't have the same centrecap lock and lock-cap. Under all of this of course will be the Alpina logo and wheel dimensions. Look on Ebay for the badges, provided correct diameter. Otherwise perhaps Alpina.
