Apex 693 Report post Posted October 16, 2013 (edited) Looking to make a flexible front chin spoiler for my rally car, like what you see on the big boys race cars. Wondering if anyone would know what they use and where I would buy it locally?? Looks like the PVC you see on rally cars mud flaps. Cheers Like this: http://2wallpaper.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/ford-focus-wrc-2006-walllpaper.jpg Edited October 16, 2013 by apex

Apex 693 Report post Posted October 17, 2013 Cheers, have tried one of those, lasted about 3 minutes, the car gets drive like it has been stolen by a Meth addict with poor depth perception, literally slammed into the road and off things.

Apex 693 Report post Posted October 17, 2013 Don't care if it stays on and is durable, its function over form. I may have to go and have a look at the hard ware shop.
Allanw 1071 Report post Posted October 17, 2013 I was joking about the spouting, but not the garden edging
cliffdunedin 8 Report post Posted October 17, 2013 I bought a couple of these a few years ago for my e36's, never bothered with the 2nd one as it was too close to the ground on superlows and would eventually rip off, it's still sitting in my basement if you are interested in it http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/30698-nice-lips-for-10/?hl=garden Josh's pic with his on \/ \/ \/
euroriffic 609 Report post Posted October 17, 2013 What you're after is some old conveyer belt! That's what my mate uses on his rally car for mud flaps, front skirt and under body protection. He got his from work as he's a m&d engineer. I'm sure someone here can get you some.
Apex 693 Report post Posted October 17, 2013 Could be a good idea. I had a suggestion on another forum to use Flexy Flares, they are rolled already so could be the go. Will update, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdq5Zrvw6Hg
