e34 535i sport - Overpriced?

Recommended Posts

Hi all

First post from me, new to BMWs. I've been watching listings for a manual e36 or e34 for a wee while now. This has piqued my interest: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=639160948

From what (little) I've seen so far, it ooks a bit overpriced at 6.5k. What do people think a reasonable price for it would be?

I woulda thought somewhere around 5kish would be good money for it, but, its also mint looking order, & is manual, & is NZ new, & unlike the one in Rotorua, hasn't been to the moon & back.........

So in some aspects, its a supply vs demand thing too, as its rare enough as it sits IMO........so I guess it comes back to what its worth to you, to own it......

Seems good value. These are sort after and will appreciate over time if looked after.

Missing the front mtech bumper which is a shame. I think 5.5k give or take would be reasonable depending on actual condition

If i sell mine at some point ill be wanting quite a bit more than yr average one but it will be a truly mint 535is in all areas with factory many upgrades

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Make him an offer.

That exact car sold on TM around a year ago for just over $5K. I rang to buy it for race car duty and it was already gone back then.

Personally I don't think these cars are really worth this much anymore, it worth really depends on who is looking at it and the driver satisfaction it offers. ;) But in saying that I think it looks awesome and being Manual is a bonus too!
