jonesrp 63 Report post Posted February 23, 2014 The green 6 series is obviously a John Player Special. Probably an ex Jim Richards Bathurst car. Shame to see it parked on a lawn in Invercargill...

gjm 3258 Report post Posted February 23, 2014 Riding very high though isnt it? No engine or gearbox does that to a car. If it was even on this island I'd have it and drop a 5-speed manual, and a LSx in it.
jonesrp 63 Report post Posted February 23, 2014 You don`t have room in your garage Graham for a classic like this. Some other lucky punter will score it.

jeffbebe 1559 Report post Posted February 23, 2014 Thought the first 6 series were about 1977, it will be a rotten english import full of rust from the salt on the roads , nothing lucky just a money pit . Brakes, suspension etc. on the 633 were somewhat ( seriously) wanting and so was the performance . I expect the rust has mostly been earned in Invercargill and I imagine the performance with no engine is probably pretty woeful.
