Michael. 2313 Report post Posted March 9, 2014 G'day guys, I've been looking around for a suitable product to aid in pressing in my rear end suspension bushes, namely for the subframe etc, is there any particular lubricant for assembly I should be using - one thats readily available? From what I gather it should be water based, with no solvents, silicones or petroleum bases. Cheers
jom 98 Report post Posted March 9, 2014 For assembling o rings where absolutely no contamination was allowed - water is the only way. it works pretty well if you can't find a non-destructive lubricant.
euroriffic 609 Report post Posted March 9, 2014 Used Crc on mine, worked fine. And was told to use it from my workmate that's been racing, building and maintaining racecars for 30 odd years.
