36th week of 2011 - Used Tyres okay?

Hi fellas

Im looking at a pair of used tyres on trademe and the seller has old me the manufacture date is 3611 so September 2011.

6mm left of tread

Will these be okay to use provided theres no damge or cracking?

Newer is always better. Tyres like to be kept out of the sun if you want them to be 'fresh'

I've got 2006 Tyres on one car, they work well enough. You'll be fine.

Practically brand new The last car I bought from Auckland had 10 year old tires on it.

Bear in mind that good new tyres may not be all that much more.

depends on the usage. maybe ok for cruising around the city but would not trust them in fast routes on state highway. but they are not ancient anyway.

most would get to that age easily before they are worn on average car.

just be aware of it, unless you doing big milage you will probaly want to replace again before fully worn

You'll be fine - that's actually pretty new and nothing out of the ordinary for used tyres.
