Nice, will look good with a wash and wheels, ride height seems reasonable for a daily.

did some work on the car today

swapped out the front struts for some others I had here , nice job on these only takes about 20-30mins .

then later on decided to swap the stereo over to a usb , blutooth one I had laying about .

then fitted the later type m-sports steering wheel

then I got sick of the drivers door that kept closing on me as the door brake was broken

so decided to remove the door card and replace that

then thought while i'm at it swap the front door cards over to some leather insert type ones I had laying about.

was going to do a speaker upgrade while in there but ran out of time.

also swapped the tied looking gearknob and surround for some nice new ones I had :).

feels so much better now

just need to swap the steering rack over to sports one some time

also took the lower engine cover off to have a look

nice dry engine :)

yea I know I like the look and operation of the factory units with the controls on the wheel etc

but I cant handle only 6 discs of music and no blutooth , sub outputs , usb etc

so any way ,no wires where cut in this process so can be put back to std if needed

The Grom Bluetooth kit is a good option. Factory look with Bluetooth, works with steering wheel buttons for skipping tracks. That's what I put in my 328i.

Was ~$140 purchased online from the US and shipped via Youshop.

This was my fathers pride and joy about 8 years ago, it was absolutely mint back then.

that's nice to know , seams to have been mostly well looked after .

I have some servicing info on it

,

if you have any more that would be nice :)

I can have a look, wouldn't think so though (all would have been in glovebox). Ill see if I can fish out some old pictures of when we had it, can still remember the day we picked it up when i was only 12.
