e30ftw 410 Report post Posted September 27, 2015 Is it a full set of springs? For 6 or 4 cylinder Yeah, Just hadn't taken the rears out when I took the photos. Yes I don't think H&R do any different between the two. How much lower do the drop hats make the front? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk About 10 - 15mm. Enough to close up a gap. I was using them because my front raised slightly when I went from M20 to M52 (due to being lighter).
BMTHUG 1057 Report post Posted September 27, 2015 How much lower will they drop the vehicle man? Im pretty sure there is a difference between 4 and 6 due to weight factors. The front on 6s are stiffer to allow for the 6 cylinder engine
e30ftw 410 Report post Posted September 27, 2015 Yeah I know what you mean, But I don't think H&R had 4cyl / 6cyl springs. They list as compatible with both but with less of a drop on m3/318i. This is how they sat with an m20.

e30ftw 410 Report post Posted September 27, 2015 Not sure but I doubt it, rear end is totally different to E30s

Ahmedsinc 414 Report post Posted September 28, 2015 So the springs and Shocks are compatible with e36 M3? Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk Rears yes, front shocks definitely not. E30 uses a shock insert where E36 has a complete strut. Have got a niggling suspicion the springs would be the right shape for the front but whether the rates are suitable IDK. OP thats a nice kit to be getting rid of - why the change?
e30ftw 410 Report post Posted September 28, 2015 Only the shocks left now. And I know, I didn't want to part with them they are very good. They just don't work with my current setup unfortunately.
