Yeah, Just hadn't taken the rears out when I took the photos. Yes I don't think H&R do any different between the two.

About 10 - 15mm. Enough to close up a gap. I was using them because my front raised slightly when I went from M20 to M52 (due to being lighter).

How much lower will they drop the vehicle man? Im pretty sure there is a difference between 4 and 6 due to weight factors. The front on 6s are stiffer to allow for the 6 cylinder engine

Yeah I know what you mean, But I don't think H&R had 4cyl / 6cyl springs. They list as compatible with both but with less of a drop on m3/318i.

This is how they sat with an m20.

Not sure but I doubt it, rear end is totally different to E30s

Rears yes, front shocks definitely not. E30 uses a shock insert where E36 has a complete strut. Have got a niggling suspicion the springs would be the right shape for the front but whether the rates are suitable IDK.

OP thats a nice kit to be getting rid of - why the change? :)

Only the shocks left now.

And I know, I didn't want to part with them they are very good. They just don't work with my current setup unfortunately.

They are for the 52mm front struts not 45mm I guess?
