92 m5 3.8l 340hp 5spd manual

staggered alloys

don't think its worth fixing , bent ripped chasis rail ,

strut tower pushed over and back

possible A pillar pushed back a bit .

runs great

maybe could reshell it ? or repower a e28 e24 e30 e21 e9 etc

yes have the gearbox,

the gearbox does not have a removable bellhousing

its the whole front 2/3 of the box , as per pictures

hi yes its know as a getrag 280 , its a beafier version of the getrag 260 , see the extra length bit added to the getrag 260 case

to accommodate the larger gears and bearings

looking at $2500 for the manual kit , bolts up to m30 s14 m10 m88 engines etc

maybe can sell box only $2k

not a fixed idea but maybe grab it now to use for a manual conversion to an e39 540

how ? you need a 5 or 6 speed from a v8 engine m60 m62 etc
