balancerider 758 Report post Posted April 27, 2020 (edited) Be interesting to see what this goes for. Best engine although high km (not a problem if looked after - not sure that 30k BMW mandated oil changes constitute being looked after though) https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=2604172556 Edited April 27, 2020 by balancerider
NZ BMW 368 Report post Posted April 27, 2020 Will be watching this with interest. Gotta love the low-baller “$18K cash?” - what else were you expecting to pay with? Diamonds? Gold bullion? Surely this will go For sub-30K right now at $1 reserve?
LemonHunter 583 Report post Posted April 27, 2020 I reckon the first two bidders are shills.
balancerider 758 Report post Posted April 27, 2020 @LemonHunter tend to agree the chance of this being relisted is high (either from buyer or seller fail) Having said that the market for something like this is only going one way so could be counterproductive
Gaz 1061 Report post Posted April 27, 2020 Can't recall if this will have adblue or not, which is a sh*t system when it faults and goes wrong
Matth5 471 Report post Posted April 28, 2020 The seller doesn't seem too sharp...
balancerider 758 Report post Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) correlation is not causation but the user name of the seller is suggestive...? Edited April 28, 2020 by balancerider
E30 325i Rag-Top 2959 Report post Posted April 28, 2020 4 hours ago, Gaz said: Can't recall if this will have adblue or not, which is a sh*t system when it faults and goes wrong Model code from the VIN is KS42, which is a normal xDrive30d, not a Blue Performance version. Interstingly the car is listed (and registered) as a 35d, which it's not - first picture on the listing is the xDrive30d badge on the side. That, plus 2* trader with a $1 reserve auction smells a bit fishy to me.
balancerider 758 Report post Posted April 28, 2020 I could be wrong @E30 325i Rag-Top but I think the Japan and US market 30d models were labelled as 35d? A bit like the G30 530d being labelled a 540d in NA...
