Nzrooney 5 Report post Posted June 19, 2020 Hi all, I have been offered to make an offer on an old e28. I have not viewed the car yet (hopefully will be seeing it next week) so I'm not sure what to expect. Putting a price on it is the bit I'm struggling with. There is only 1 535 on trade me for 14k. Any chance I could get your opinions on price for a below average condition, an average condition and an excellent condition. Keeping in mind it is only a 520. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nzrooney 5 Report post Posted June 23, 2020 19 minutes ago, Olaf said: @Nzrooney Matt, why not an e24 instead? NZ New 635CSi, last owner Oct 1987 to December 2019, ~195k kms. 10 years in a shed, recommissioned this year. It's a great drive, and is on genuine BBS 17" alloys. I've never considered it to be honest. Sounds like a nice ride. What would this set me back?

Kodachrome 151 Report post Posted July 13, 2020 FWIW I paid $4k for a one owner E28 last year. Original wheels (and tyre in the boot!), seats, suspension etc. Spent.. at least that replacing everything since.
