gjm 3258 Report post Posted September 17, 2020 No such thing as a cheap E24, or a neglected E24 with "some minor rust". The price is currently attractive and it might be worth it... (At that price.)
leichtbau 525 Report post Posted September 17, 2020 You wait ages for an E24 and all of a sudden nine of them arrive at once!
fredbmw 12 Report post Posted September 18, 2020 The old adage “Get the best one you can afford“ stands true here. Avoid that rusted out one like the plague.

Olaf 3342 Report post Posted September 18, 2020 that's the definition of "oh no, UK cars don't rust out once they're in NZ...." Yes it depends on where, yes this was well before galv.... yes, it's basically f*#ked. Unless you're a panel-beater with a thing for early e24s, there's no money in putting this back on the road.
