martyyyn 102 Report post Posted November 8, 2020 Before I bought the E34 535is I had an e30 318is. I bought it for $2500, sold it two years later for $7500 and saw it for sale last year for $25000. Around town it was fantastic, one of the best cars I've even owned, but the e34 destroys it on the open road which is all the driving I do now.
Funkyflynz 151 Report post Posted November 18, 2020 My E46 M3 Manual. It was a rash decision to sell it (due to health reasons) and 12months later it sold again for $15k more! I would love another one but are now pretty much out price range ??

bga 96 Report post Posted November 20, 2020 .... a bit of a stretch to have kept these as this pic is from around 1987 but have very fond memories of the Spitfire for sure, with my brothers Escort - soldt he Spitfire for around 800 GBP at the time and it ended up being put through the back of a garage as the guy who bought it was wheel spinning on his driveway
E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted November 21, 2020 Nice Spitty, looks like an early Mk3 with a hard top as well, very nice. I had a white late Mk3, sold it when we moved to NZ, had been the garage for many years and never got the love it deserved.
Allanw 1071 Report post Posted November 21, 2020 (edited) I've owned some really oddball cars, and regret selling a LOT of them... but I always knew I'd regret not keeping Dads E30, but I really miss it more than I expected ? A LOT more! I think we should have kept it as the classic and sold the '29 Ford model A instead! This was my olds car for damn close to half my life, 18 of my 42 years! I kept the cobwebs well cleared out of it during my late teens and early 20's. Even got breath tested with like 7? people in it! I drove it before Dad did and even drove it home from the dealer, while Dad followed (trying to keep up!) in my sisters VL Commodore. ?
