leichtbau 525 Report post Posted November 13, 2020 Completely agree with the article - Impressive own goal by BMW SA. They ripped off the beat from Kwesta's track for their ad: Kwesta - Spirit The pretty average 330is ad And the closest connection I can see between the 325iS and the 330is is that there's and s at the end of the badge?? I do however, love this part of the article: Quote It was the 325is that earned the affectionate Gusheshe handle, a term whose roots were unpacked in my presence by seasoned, swaggering colleague Phuti Mpyane. In his animated way, replete with confident replication of engine sounds, he said: “That etymology is traced to the distinctive induction noise it made – ‘gush-gush’ – many people struggled to pronounce that, so it became Gusheshe, a word that in itself has no meaning whatsoever, a lot like many other colloquialisms that become attached to certain things.” I think we all know that Gusheshe means panty dropper. Olaf 3317 Report post Posted November 13, 2020 article's a bit too OTT serious. liked the music video very much. have to agree, the advert's lame. really lame. given they're advertising a new car and it's less than 5% of the footage, they're working hard to establish a tenuous connection to the legend of the gusheshe (cool name btw). Interesting.

leichtbau 525 Report post Posted November 16, 2020 Will be listing my E30 325iS Evo 1 shortly lads, it's parts bin poverty spec with some weird 5 stud hubs on it, a 2.7 M20 (probably out of an eta), and all the front panels don't seem to be steel (cardboard?). Tacky 80's bodykit as well. Obviously worth bugger all, so will entertain offers over $6K or swap for an E36, preferably in red. Just so you know what you're getting yourself into, here's a hack journalist with no cred trying to sprinkle glitter on this turd
