BMW servicing in Palmy

Recommended Posts

Anyone know a good and trustworthy independent in Palmy for BMWs?

Or should I just take in to the dealer?

Thanks!

What model Bimmer is it? Most independents can look after the older stuff but the more modern cars are a bit more specialist.

I was going to say don't go to Lee European - ended up going through small claims tribunal to get my money back...but they're in liquidation.

I'd go with Manawatu BMW I think

For the 2013 116i, my son has it now and don't want him to go into a random place for servicing and WOF.

Looks like Manawatu BMW is a good choice, I wonder whether they offer drop-off in the morning, he's based at the hospital which is not too far but not too close to the dealer.

  • Thanks 1

I’ve been away from Palmy for a while, and not sure who to use for servicing something that modern, other than Manawatu BMW.

I used to use Laurie at Kelvin Grove Motors to do the warrants on all my cars when I was there.

You should consider Begley Motor Works in Marton.  Excellence personified.

You can get Jon on ‭021 651 591‬

Thanks, might be too far for my son, would need to organise transport there and back ... although he lived in Marton a couple of years ago and commuted to Palmy for his summer research project

Where's the commitment?! 😊  I go there from Wellington, such is the quality of work.

Haha, my son isn't that interested in cars (yet?) - he'll do the minimal to get the job done which is not a good thing for a car that we've had in the last 5 years and carefully maintained.
