BMW POWER 2 Report post Posted January 9, 2007 (edited) Aaaaand thats it Lol I'm getting so much sh*t from the guys in the workshop... walking around with phones on my shoulders doing work talking to insurance companies and parents and mates etc lol. And now I know what the teachers meant back at primary school -If you have a dream, no matter how big, now matter how "unattainable" then go for it, work hard, save hard and do it. BMW POWER 2 Report post Posted January 9, 2007 Thanks guys yep it definitely is a minter and I assure you all that it will remain that way. 1st Biggest stress - bar exams, ever... And I can assure you there was a WHOLE lot more today... But anyway thats all over now I'm just enjoying it. Really is mint, hopefully I'll see some of you guys this year at some meets. BTW Will : Checked on the block and it is a 1.6. Not 1.8 as one member suggested. And no bling. Prehaps only a bimmersport sticker on the rear and some Cooke Howlison BMW plate surrounds. And a BMWCC membership sticker when it comes. I'm kinda banned from it tonight haha... Ah well its getting dark anyway. Cheers Em

E30_318i 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2007 Congrats. Looks immaculate, definately better than a boring Civic or Corolla as a first car! Must be the first E30 I've seen without a sunnroof

oldskool 4 Report post Posted January 9, 2007 Hey Em, Congratulations, as everyone else is saying, it is one immaculate car !! Good on you for sticking to your guns, really pleased your M & D came round to your way of thinking. It's a wee gem, and has found a great home no doubt about that. Enjoy it, and bask in the glow of obtaining your first bmw goal !!, not long now and you'll be in an e39 too !! (Guessing that's your M & D's in the background) Good work mate, you deserve it !! Cheers Grant
bimmer boy 21 Report post Posted January 9, 2007 For the record my E30 didnt have a sunroof either. Congrats on the new ride Em its a obviously a keeper, needs some chromes and mirror tints though, dont worry I'll hook you up with classy supercheap auto stuff
hotwire 352 Report post Posted January 9, 2007 Good on ya Em, as already said - MINT -that would have to be one of the best E30's in the country. Great to see what you can end up with when you have patience, good to hear you are going to keep it that way - maybe if anything some more attractive feet. Some cars (especially this age & condition) deserve to be left realitively unscathed. Enjoy it
Guest Ken Report post Posted January 9, 2007 (edited) This seems fitting... Contentment is the core to Happiness Buying a car today would be so nice! Having a car thats old is quite alright; Getting a car tomorrow would be wise! Changing a car each day would not be right. Having something thats old is good enough; Having something today seems still better; Having something tomorrow is quite tough; Yet, satisfaction's prime that must matter. Each thing in time has its advantages; Postponement's not something you always do; One shouldn't decide slowly or take ages; All things have demerits and beauty too! Yet, values old have stood the test of time! And modern things don't make life more sublime! Dr John Celes Edited January 9, 2007 by Ken

Guest Spargo Report post Posted January 9, 2007 Man that is clean! Definitely shows that the mint e30's are worth the wait. You're going to break so many 6th form boys hearts with that wee car.
Andrew 30 Report post Posted January 9, 2007 FTW - I didn't know they made 1.6 autos? Weerd. So tidy - hit it up with some polish and make it even cleaner - that would just be scary. Lowered, Black Weaves, Tints - DONE. In fact look at Ollie's car to see what looks good on Luxorbeige
bravo 35 Report post Posted January 9, 2007 Werd to the motherf**ker! Thats badass Em. Well done - what a good buy! My 320 was sunroof-less too. I miss the mintness of that car - don't let it go too easily. As much fun as my new car is, the 320 was a better automobile.
