Hi guys, just clearing up bits and pieces in my garage. I've got a custom catback exhaust that Woolf Mufflers fabricated for my old M5. Makes the car sound mental, sounds like a Gallardo at the top end. It has baffled mufflers which create lots of crackles and pops on deceleration, but please note that this is loud at most rev ranges. Woolf tested it with their decibel thing, and it was with in the legal limit though. Had it on for about 500km before I sold the car. More updates - it's been a busy week for the M. Needless to say I was ecstatic to find my shipment from the states was ready for collection on Monday morning. George kindly got my new Supersports fitted on the apex wheels by the afternoon and I was itching to leave work so I could fit them. Also part of the shipment was my CSL bootlid. I got this for a good price so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. It took a bit of work to get it fitted (thanks to George again) but the end result is pretty good. what you have will work its normally a compromise when doing headers try to come as far away from the port as possible before the bend that helps as far as the reflection goes, the issue with it is they tend to back feed into the chamber adding to detonation thus the tuning issue, you dont need 4-1 on those turbos just whatever you can get to fit plus dont get hung up on equal length boost over comes all

Go somewhere far removed for a month to consider my options. Then hopefully arrive at something like this: Pay off student loan - $30k Racing car of some description $50k Late model euro of some description, probably an f10 m5 or 550d. Maybe even a maserati quattroporte or whatever the new one is called. $100-$150k Travel/ski until I get bored of it $100k Bank $500k on call and the remaining $3.5m in term deposit. Finally I would speculate the remaining $500k in financial markets. I would continue renting until house prices/rents normalize. No point buying a $1.5m house in Auckland that nets maybe 2% p.a. - some other sucker can take the other side of that trade. I would quit my job and try my best to keep the winnings secret/formulate a really good cover story. I would tip good customer service people with Rutherfords.
