I treat the forums as a refuge from the people on Facebook. I may not contribute much around here but value the community here a heck of a lot more than the Facebook one.We should have a thread where we discuss where we would like to see the fourms go and how we can consciously contribute to achieve it. I certainly think its possible, I've seen it done before. This is our community, there's little stopping us from being aware and conscious of cultures we want to develop. I would hate for the forums to completely disappear as the thought of bring exposed solely to the Facebook scares my very core

Hey Guys, I'm wondering if anyone here would be interested in buying an iPhone holder / charger for an iPhone 5, 5c or 5s that takes the place of your existing ashtray in your E46. I've done this for myself and was going to 3D print it. The holder also has a slot on the inside where your genuine apple lightning connector slides into and holds its place firmly. Just trying to gauge interest at this point: I would be able to adapt it for other smartphones too if there is enough demand for it. I might also add, even the best made tool in the world will be a destructive weapon in the hands of a person without the knowledge to use it properly. All tools and equipment need a brain to operate it with experience & knowledge on how that tools works to achieve a satisfying result. You must also be aware of how to operate or use that tool in a safe manner

i guess its along the lines of a lot of mods, if done well, they look so much like they are original, that only a trainspotter would know, at the other end of the scale but same story, you have E30 M5x swaps, no custom parts needed except and exhaust, its all nuts and bolts, so how would they ever know. Personally, im more worried about Chinese tyres and blown shocks being legal on our roads than the odd Jag enthusiest retrofitting a leaping cat on the front

That E31 CSI is very cool. I could quite happily see one of those in my future....
