thinking of selling my wheels, they have just been refurbished and only test fitted on the car since, 2 of the tyres are ok one has no tyre and the other is no good. i believe the offset to be 13 but don't hold me to it they are 17x8.5j and obviously 5x120 pcd i can message more/better pics if requested as for a price i am unsure what they are worth but i would have thought $600 is reasonable. please advise if you no better also selling e36 front and rear lowering springs, apparently they are jamex 60mm springs in used condition $130 located in christchurch

Bit new here hope im doing this right !! Replaced the slave cylinder on my e30 clutch last night, Getting the slave off was the easy part then i found that the connection to the slave from the hydraulic line was seized most likely been on there for 20+ years, used some LOCTITE freeze and release This stuff is awesome with some help from the vice grips it came right off !! Then after getting it all back together (sorry no pics of this part) i found i had a flat battery so off to work with my make shift universal battery charger and she should be full of life by tonight

Silence is golden, ATF is red. Trans noise is gone! HUZZAH! Old fluid looked a bit sad but not majorly depressed. Cant see any obvious signs of air leakage....but the old filter was a bit manky. TLDR: I MENDED IT. Next job, valve cover gasket. Previous owner did one side and just gave me the bits to do the other. Slam some new plugs in while its apart ...... ? .....profit.

if it's horses, get thee a truck license and buy a four wheel horse float Mind you, if they're living at your lifestyle block you can borrow a trailer when you need to. tough choice between the commode wagon and the e39 Touring.... 528 or 530.... I guess the diesels are rare as rockinghorse sh*t here, shame. Nice quandry to be in, though! Whoever suggested a mercedes ML, I missed the requirement "must be (exceptionally )troublesome and representative of the manufacturer's lesser-regarded output" I'll get me coat!

1st noise: a common issue with those motors (X5 also) is if the o-ring on the oil filter cap is not replaced or is a poor fitting after market one, they will leak air into the filter over night and it sounds terrible on the first start of the day.. the oil drains completely out. its a cheap and easy thing to eliminate anyway... even if they are not leaking oil out, they can let air in... oil pressure holds a seal, but leaks under "vacuum" I've seen many miss diagnosed timing chain expensive repairs, that was simply an o-ring.... good luck!
