Finally arrived - 370mm Mtech 2, definitely feels like it belongs to the car. Great original condition which I was after as I’m not a fan of the smooth / perforated / modern leather refurbed that are often done on these. Just gave it a good deep brush clean and added a new roundel. Update: couldn’t resist going a little further and giving it a light refurb with Colourlock Leatherfresh to restore the rich matte black finish without obscuring the grain. Came up really well. Old Mtech 1 wheel sold in 10 mins without even listing it 😂

Unless it’s a race car with history, originality is key to the value of an E30 M3, and the RHD conversion is a big minus in terms of collectibility. The lack of originality with the conversion is compounded by the technical issues that balancerider mentioned above, with steering and engine performance plus weight balance all affected. As this was a USA spec car (no dogleg box another minus) the bumpers have been nodded or swapped plus lots of other changes. This guy has already pulled his ad from E30 Classifieds NZ because everyone was telling him he’s dreaming at $125k!

Or a tasteful(?) 325i making the pile of cash smaller by the day 😂
