Fun Easter Weekend so far - did some laps at Hampton Downs in this wee beastie (pretty good birthday present). Absolutely fantastic experience, obviously didn’t even touch the potential of it but the front end grip was mind boggling! Bit of time in my sim rig helped with lines and pedal modulation but nothing could prepare you for the intensity, noise and lack of visibility. Would love to do some proper seat time in one of these things.

They were taken down pretty quickly. I'd say $3500 is about right

Took car in for its Cert inspection today. Few things to rectify after talking to Paul, main concern being the removal of the front seatbelt pretensioners. Currently I have just bolted the rear seat belt buckles to the transmission tunnel, but it appears the pretensioner must be kept. So ive managed to remove it from the oem seat, and disassembled the big yellow connector to now only contain the pretensioner plug inside of it so the connection to the car remains as it was from factory and no wires in the OEM seat had to be cut. Now will just bolt that to the transmission tunnel. Other than that, just needs a few more spring washers in some places, wanted some more information around the brake swap especially the adapter brackets, and to level out the front ride height, seems to be about 8mm difference across left to right. Mostly pretty straightforward stuff, took a bit of thinking with the pretensioners but should be somewhat straight forward from here, and then hopefully a legal car soon, once I pass the wof it failed for exhaust being too loud and the front right headlight angle being wrong...

Hey Team Can you believe we are already in April, so some of you may have seen it on trade me. The time has come to move the e34 wagon on, Its been such a pleasure to build but am looking forward to the X5 v12 twin turbo build. Just the interior left to put in and cert next week to go. So here are some pictures of the wagon currently just for my own memory bank
