4 pointsThanks for everyone's input. I removed/cleaned the Vanos solenoids yesterday, and despite them not looking too bad, the throttle response is now much sharper. An easy job to do in the end; thanks YouTube!

1 pointMan it’s such a nice daily and fast car 🤣 Way better than the E92 but this is a rare occasion when you can get a F80 at this price imo. The other F80 for sale is 189ks asking for 41.9k, seems to be asking too much compared to this.

1 pointI'd say either the BMW software (ISTA) or BimmerLink are probably the best bets. If Epsom is convenient to you I'm happy to plug it in to my rig to see if we get any results, at least that'll be free.

1 pointWas watching that one with interest as thinking about an F80, that's possibly an inflated price as well, the underbidder (jmags) had posted asking for there bids to be removed earlier that evening, but seller seemingly didnt and they must have had autobid on to 47k.

1 pointProperly maintained you won't loose money on a E9x M3 in the near future. Nor probably the far future. Very few cars are good investments but the E9X does return many grins per mile, even when not being "thrashed".

0 pointsPixel fix time. Saw Sreten do it so ordered the parts and this hasn't gone well... Looks like someone has been in here before... Marked and ready to pull... The needle won't come off... So where do I buy the motor's from? I don't see them on pixelfix... Or should I just get a new cluster?
